Hey now with the base model comment. I drive a base model 6MT, and it's faster than most people need to go. That being said, driving a "base model automatic Vert" once is what got me hooked on the thing to the point of buying it...so I can only hope you suffer the same curse.

Ahem...mine is also one of those early C6s. My guess is that rental companies aren't renting out MY 2005 vehicles anymore, so you should be in the clear. I've never driven one with a 4L60E, but seeing as that's the same transmission in my truck, I can only hope you're lucky enough for the 6 speed auto.
